Symbiosis is a New York-based competition by Imagine Science Films, pairing scientists with filmmakers to create short collaborative works. Sarah Sun and I were commissioned to create a promo for the program in 2017. We came up with the idea of a scientist and filmmaker literally fusing together into a curious, amoeba-like creature. Sarah and I developed the style together while I handled most of the production.
