EC (working title) is an animation project in development, co-created with a writer friend. It follows a forbidden love between a state scientist and an indigenous artist living under an authoritarian regime. Two people only begin to truly individualise after the country’s collapse, already in middle age, and through each other. The scientist, now free to question the world on her own terms, will spend her remaining years in pursuit of a single scientific mystery.
